Ms. Berríos has been part of the Firm since 2006. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, for which she graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus. She attended the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, School of Law and graduated, also Magna Cum Laude, in 2007.
During her Law School years, Ms. Berríos exposed herself to various professional experiences in the field of Law. She was selected to participate in a summer program for which she traveled, lived and worked for two months in Madrid, Spain. While in Spain, she worked in the Compliance Department of Citibank Madrid. Also, she worked at the Puerto Rico’s Human Rights Foundation.
She began to work at Reichard & Escalera as a law clerk on 2006. Once admitted to the bar, she became an Associate in the Litigation Department. Ms. Berríos has worked with complex franchising regulatory matters, as well as complex litigation in matters related to contracts, franchising, Law 75 and 21.
Now, as a Senior Associate she provides coaching and mentoring of associates. Also, she works in the development of legal strategies and builds teams for the handling of complex litigation practice. In addition, she assists with practice planning and risk management of the law firm.
She is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
