Ms. Ruiz-Chaar, Senior Staff attorney, is a magna cum laude BS from the University of Puerto Rico and a M.S. Degree in Environmental Science from Rutgers University. She holds a J.D. Degree, Cum Laude, from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law.
Ms. Ruiz-Chaar has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico and is a member of the Puerto Rico Bar Association. Ms. Ruiz is also a member of the Firm’s Corporate Law Group, working in the area of Environmental Law. Formerly, Ms. Ruiz Chaar was the Environmental Programs Coordinator for General Electric Products, Inc.’s operations in Puerto Rico. She has extensive experience in the environmental arena, providing counseling in all areas of environmental law.
