Ms. Malavé-Seda is an Associate in the Litigation Department working on commercial and employment litigation before federal and local courts and administrative agencies. She also has experience working with due diligence for commercial transactions and with the incorporation and management of companies and different corporate applications. She has worked on projects related to health care law, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, Medicare.
Ms. Malavé-Seda has a B.A. in Political Science with a specialty in International Relations, from the University of Puerto Rico (Magna Cum Laude), a Juris Doctor from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico (Cum Laude), and an LL.M. in Global Health Law from Georgetown University Law Center (“Georgetown Law”).
During her legal studies, she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Revista de Derecho Puertoriqueño (Puerto Rico Law Journal) and as a Staff Editor for the Food and Drug Law Journal. She also assisted refugees seeking political asylum at the Center for Applied Legal Studies in Georgetown Law.
Ms. Malavé-Seda was admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. She is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court of Puerto Rico and is a Notary Public.
