Mr. Canino-Figueroa obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Ana G. Méndez University in 2016 (Summa Cum Laude), and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Law (Magna Cum Laude) in 2019.
During his legal studies, Mr. Canino-Figueroa completed an internship with the United States Attorney’s Office, during which he worked alongside Assistant United States Attorneys in the development of legal motions and trial preparation for civil and criminal cases. Mr. Canino-Figueroa spent a semester in the University of Pittsburgh School of Law as a visiting student, where, among other things, he participated in the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Project. He also worked for the Honorable Judge Enrique S. Lamoutte of the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Puerto Rico as a Legal Intern. During his time in law school, Mr. Canino-Figueroa served as a Junior Editor of the Business Law Journal (2017-2018), a member of Pro Bono Rights of Adolescents and Children (2018-2019) and a member of the Civil Litigation Clinic (2018-2019).
He joined Reichard & Escalera, LLC in 2019 as part of the Litigation Department and its Employment Practice Group, working on complex commercial litigation and employment issues. Mr. Canino-Figueroa is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and is a Notary Public.
